Sometimes there is simply not enough time in an hour class to share the teachings of our teachers and other teachers that have gone before us so generally once a month we run workshops. It really provides us with a chance for us to elaborate, break down or introduce our clients to secrets to the keys of health & wellness over a couple of hours and some tea & raw treats at the conclusion of the workshop.

Inversions & Arm Balancing Master class workshop

This workshop will cover how to approach Inversions and get a better understanding of Balance and Alignment while learning how to perform Inversions & Arm Balancing techniques. We will cover the correct way to do Handstands, what you should and should not be doing, drill work to build strength in order to do Inversion & Arm Balancing techniques.

This workshop will start with understanding flexibility and the role it plays while learning how to warm up the body before training and cool down correctly.

In this workshop, I will be introducing for the very first time a circus tool called Handstand canes. We will be learning basic drills, giving you techniques you can use every single day at home to improve not only your strength but flexibility.

We will be using partners, walls and adding in dynamic floor work/drills.
This is a mix of Circus Arts and Gymnast Hand Balancing. When you walk out of this workshop you will not only know the correct way to safely hold Handstands & Arm Balances but have a deeper understanding of how your body works in unison, while giving you tools you can take home and practice on your own, safely and intelligently.

In this class, we will be ‘Building Strength Through The Vinyasa’ by going through very dynamic movements with longer holds & less rest time, higher repetitions, static yin and yang stretching. Maha Al Musa loves the positive birth message. She is an international, independent childbirth educator, international speaker and founder of EmbodyBirth since 1997. A mother of three children, now 8, 17 and 20. She birthed her last at home at 46 and breastfed her for just over 8 years and was a breastfeeding advocate in worldwide media from 2012-2016.

Maha will share her EmbodyBirth philosophy, that puts birth back in to the heart, hands, and womb of mothers and their babies. She will facilitate an EmbodyBirth demonstration class that is a fusion of BellydanceBirth, somatic processes and childbirth education that speaks the language of the feminine, with special guest one of her trained teachers Skye Cilia. Maha will delve with us into the topic of fear in birth.
